Prof. Basri Amasyalı
Cardiology Specialist
He was born in 1969 in district of Emirdağ province of Afyon. He completed his primary and secondary education in Germany. After completing his high school education at Eskişehir Atatürk High School between 1985 and 1988, he started GATA Faculty of Medicine in 1988. He graduated from GATA Faculty of Medicine in 1994. He worked as a general practitioner in district of Emirdağ province of Afyon between 1995 and 1997. He started his specialization in GATA Department of Cardiology in October 1997. He became a cardiologist specialist in November 2001. He received the title of Assistant Professor in April 2005 and Associate Professor in December 2007.
He resigned from the Turkish Armed Forces in 2011. In 2012, he started to work as the Head of Department of Cardiology at Dumlupınar University Faculty of Medicine. He was appointed as Professor in March 2013. He resigned from Dumlupınar University in May 2015. Since 2001, he has been dealing with interventional cardiology, mainly in the field of interventional treatment of heart rhythm disorders.
There are more than 100 studies and research works published in Foreign and Domestic Journals.
